» ETNA
The highest volcano in Europe. Located 3350 m above sea level. There are many craters but two are worth the mention; Red mountain which opened after The 1669 eruption and Silvestri opened after the in 1892 to 2000m above sea level.
In the eastern part of the volcano lies the Valle del Bove, which was formed about 10,000 years ago, this was followed a massive lava flow, this extraordinary force of nature is still possibile to be admired.
» TAORMINA – ISOLA BELLA
Taormina is very interesting from a artistic historical point of view, having preserved different representations of a glorious past: the ancient Greek-Roman Theatre, The Odem, the Old Abbey, the Palace of the Dukes of St. Stephen, the Covaja Palace, the Villa Comunale, Piazza
Nove Aprile, the Clock Tower and the famigerat! Corso
Umberto framed by the fateful "Porta Messina and Porta Catania" is the heart of the city full of shops, hotels, accommodation and recreational activities.
Today, the Greek-Roman Theatre is used for summer music and cultural shows which includes the famous international film festival.
Isola Bella is a small island located off of Taorminas coast. The island is also known as the Pearl of the Mediterrean and is located within a small bay on the
Ionian sea. The name was coined by the German Baron Wilhelm Von Gloeden, who spread the word about the artistic value of the island. In 1990 the island was finally purchased by the Department of Cultural Heritage.
» CASTELMOLA
It is located above Taormina, an ancient medieval village from the exclusive panorama.
It preserves the ruins of the Norman Castle, The Cathedral "Mother Church", the Church of St. George, Church of St. Blaise and the Piazza S. Antonio with its mosaic floor made of white lava stone offering breathtaking views.
» GOLE DELL'ALCANTARA
The gorge is one of the most amazing natural manifestations on the whole island. Reproduce a Natural canyons were reproduced. They were formed as a result of an eruption in moio Alcantara on the slopes of Etna (now extinct) which crossed and disrupted the whole territory. Today we enter the interior of these natural prisms, thanks to erosive action of the river Alcantara, over the millennium creating this impressive gorge. This has attracted many visitors all year round. The Alcantara River is one of the 4 main rivers in Sicily, Etna was born at 1250 m altitude, and after a distance of about 48 Km it entered in the Ionian Sea in Giardini Naxos.
» GIARDINI NAXOS
It is the first Greek colony in Sicily founded by Chalcis in 734
BC. On the 29.10.2000 Naxos became a twin town with the
Island of Cycads to establish a connection between the ideal
and effectiveness of the two. Giardini Naxos from the
perspective of Historical Architecture offers very interesting
elements: The Castle of Schisò "Paladin Palace", the statue of
Nike in honor of the twinning with the Greek city of Halkida
Evia, the Church of St. Pancras, built in 1956, internally There
is a majestic painting of 1879 depicting the Bishop Pancrazio
at the moment of is arrival in Naxos.

Since 2008 is part of the most beautiful areas in Italy.

Godfather" by Francis Ford Coppola. Here you can visit the
Church of the Capuchin monastery in which there are
paintings of the 500 and 600 and the crypt in which they are
preserved and displayed the embalmed remains of the towns
nobility dating back to the eighteenth and nineteenth
centuries. The old town has medieval monuments and is
characterized by narrow winding lanes.
» FORZA D’AGRO’
Is part of the Valley of Agrò. From this viewpoint, you can see
the coast from Messina to Catania and Siracusa, Taormina,
Castelmola the bay of Naxos and the imposing Mount Etna.
In 1971, Francis Ford Coppola chose this area as the setting
for several scenes in the movie "The Godfather".
The monuments of great significant s are: the Mother Church
of the Annunciation of the sixteenth century. And the Church
of the Holy Trinity also known as St. Augustine, tyical of the
fifteenth century.
» CATANIA
Elephant City, is the second largest city Sicily with about
500,000 inhabitants, situated on the Ionian Sea, at the foot of
the active volcano, Mount Etna, which is 28 Km.
Whatever transport method you take to get there or your
position, The is all you see. Catania City bulit on the lava,
reborn after the eruption of 1669 and entirely rebuilt after the
earthquake of 1693. Its coat of arms is a lava elephant
ornament sitting on top of the monumental fountain in Piazza
Duomo. The representation of the coat of arms shows the
elephant on top an the lette "A", making the most accredited
scholars believe the statue referred to the Argon dynasty, and
to catanias patron saint, Agatha.

» SYRACUSE
Overlooking the coast of eastern Sicily is this harmonious city
which lies along a bay that stretches into the sea meeting the
island of Ortigia. The islands buildings lies in the beauty of
both medieval and baroque architecture. You will also find
the monuments of "Neapolis" there.
Greek Theatre
It is the most imposing monument known not only in
Syracuse but all over the world for the way this theatre was
carved out of the rocks.
The Ear of Dionysius
Located in a broken quarry stone. The exceptional acoustic
resonance of the cave is created by the particular design of the
caves entrance.
» AGRIGENTO
A town in eastern Sicily, capital of the province, situated on
the top of a hill a few kilometers from the coast of the Strait of
Sicily. In its history has had as many as 4 names: "Kpàyas" for
the Greeks, "Agrigentum" to the Romans, "Kerkent" for
Arabs and Girgenti by the Normans. Girgenti was also the
official name of the city until 1929. Here you will find
Sicilys archaeological heritage the Valley of the Temples.
The Valley of the Temples, considered one of the main tourist
attractions in Sicily, dating back to the Magna Grecia. Since
1997 the temples have been included in as a World Heritage
Site by Unesco.
» PALERMO
The city of Palermo is the capital of the Sicilian Region. And
the main cultural, historical and economic administrative
center of Sicily. The artistic and architectural heritage is
represented by the remains of the Punic walls, Art Nouveau
style villas, Arabic Norman style residences , Baroque
churches and Neoclassical theatres.
Palermo has the largest number of monuments within the city
center, such as numerous historic villas, sightseeing towers,
ancient churches and mansions. Its historic center is one of the
biggest in Europe with the botanical garden and the Cathedral
of Monreale all possibile UNESCO World Heritage. The
historic center of Palermo is divided into four districts "lodge-castellammare - Courts - Kalsa, the Royal Palace and the
pawnshop - Head."
